A staunch advocate of peaceful resistance to injustice and racial violence, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. stood at the vortex of the U.S. civil rights movement of the 1960s. He became a national leader, and his death at the hands of an assassin in 1968 was grieved by both blacks and whites. In this award-winning documentary, writer/director Thomas Friedman takes a look Reverend King's ideas, actions, and influence on the fight to end racial segregation. Narrated by Arthur Berghardt, the program's highlights include rare archival footage, photographs, and interviews with King associates. The show was produced by Melissa Wegman and edited by David Kalish, with music by Rocco Lombardo. Steve Blackburn, All Movie Guide

April 04, 2009: February, being Black History month, what a great gift, with President Obama recently elected, and the road that led to his triuph being largely paved by the actions of Dr. King, I foolishly thought that this would make an excellent experience for the children my wife teaches. But I was let down by B&N.Surely I thoght I would receive them within a week, at worst two. Forget about it. Had I been told this would not be received by me for more than a month, I wouldn't had expected them to be presented as a lesson plan on black history month. I still would have purchased them. But I think I should have been told about this dilema as a matter of respect for me being a customer. It saddens me to know you have no feelings for a little old customer who depends largely on purchases online. I am retired for medical reasons that

I do not wish to elaborate on. Making a trip to one of your stores is just too much for me. My doctors tell me all I need is support, thanks for yours in this matter. P.S. I do not expect you to post this, I just had to let it out.
