Editorial Reviews

The back is often an abused and neglected part of the body. Top yoga instructor Rodney Yee designed this program specifically to strengthen the muscles of the back and reduce the negative effects of stress, poor posture, and back strain. Yee demonstrates safe yoga poses of twisting, stretching, lengthening, and arching that build a fit, vital back. Filmed on the beaches of Maui, this inspiring workout was developed for all ages and fitness levels. ~ Heather M. Fierst, All Movie Guide All Movie Guide

July 04, 2009: Did not find this an instructional yoga DVD for back care. It basically shows you how to sit properly to help with back pain/problems. It does not teach yoga positions to help strengthen your back. Very disappointing as I have a few Gaiam DVDs for yoga and find them beneficial.

Good but requires lots of propsby Anonymous

May 07, 2009: I have some other Rodney Yee yoga DVDs and I really like his style of yoga so when I saw Yoga for Back Care I thought it would be just what I needed. I do enjoy the postures and stretches in the workout but he uses a lot different props (blanket, chairs, strap, and bolster) which makes it a bit inconvenient. I've tried doing the postures without the props but they don't seem to work as well.
