Editorial Reviews

Yoga instructor Rodney Yee adheres to the principle that regular yoga practice provides enhanced athletic conditioning, improves balance and concentration and reduces the chance of injury. In his hour-long workout, Yee and his assistants lead viewers through "opening" bending and twisting exercises for spine, hips and hamstrings. "Conditioning" steps up the energy level with balancing poses and bends, and the final "Integration" session combines several different seated and reclined moves that provide conditioning for the hips. ~ Kathryn Tamms, All Movie Guide All Movie Guide

March 31, 2001: This is a wonderful tape that I always turn to when I have sore muscles or an injury of some sort. It would be fabulous for anyone with back problems. It's slow and gentle and concentrates on realigning your body, especially the back, and getting a nice, overall stretch throughout the body. Modifications are shown for all poses, and you don't need to have previous yoga experience to do this. It's a good relaxation tape as well.
