February 06, 2010: To me, this was better then the book.

Cathy was much more likable and relatable.

I really didn't like that the book version was told from Nelly's perspective; she didn't like Cathy and always had her own comments to add.

And a lot of the things that were said by Nelly to Heathcliff were said by Cathy here, which I thought was very smart, it works better, Nelly shouldn't have had any place in their romance.
