Mother Simplicia (Rosalind Russell) is the head nun at an all-girl school. Aided by the young Sister George (Stella Stevens), the two try to convert the wayward girls to prim and proper ladies with a solid religious foundation. Rosabelle (Susan St. James) and Marvel Ann (Barbara Hunter), are the leaders of the teenage girls who often rebel against authority.Arthur Godfrey plays the Bishop, and Milton Berle provides a hilarious cameo as a film director whose big cowboy chase scene is ruined by the arrival of the girl's school bus. Farriday (Robert Taylor) is the helpful neighbor, and Van Johnson is the priest who heads the school for boys in this mildly amusing comedy. Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart sing their self-penned title track. Dan Pavlides, All Movie Guide

July 19, 2006: Okay, the first movie is definitely better but I also liked this sequel and found it cute and entertaining. It would have been nice if Hayley Mills had been in this movie playing the young progressive nun but Stella Stevens was good and I also thought that Rosalind Russell, and Susain Saint James were very good. The only complaint I have is with the DVD, it is pan and scan only and I think it would have been nice if they had also released a widescreen DVD and hopefully someday they will do that!

December 31, 2003: At first, I did not plan on watching this film, but I happened upon on it on TCM as I was flipping through the channels. I had heard of this movie after trying to find a DVD version of the prequel, The Trouble With Angels, as it came up in the search query. Anyways, I started watching it on TCM, but it was already midway, so I didn't really understand it. Either way, I thought that The Trouble With Angels had a better story to it and had a more whimsical yet touching tone. Besides, Sister George is exactly the type of nun that has caused the new non-habit wearing nun. It may not mean much to some, but it's the start of a less faithful nun...anyways, I would rate the prequel better than this subpar sequel!
