March 17, 2009: Because the Disneyland t.v. series was before my time, I'd never seen the episodes included on here, let alone any others, until a few weeks ago. This was my first exposure to the show and I'm content that I was fortunate enough to get a copy of this. My most favorite episodes are definitely Mars And Beyond and Our Friend The Atom. A lot of what was covered on these like the solar system I still remember from elementary school. My least favorite episode is Man And The Moon, I'm not quite sure why, it just seemed kind of a little slow-paced for me, but I guess I just need some time for it to grow on me. But despite that one qualm, I agree that this still is the # 1 authority on space to go for information on it. Nothing and nobody does it better than Disney on science or whatever other subject or just as well, except for maybe Beakman's World and Bill Nye the Science Guy, which are also great. They all just always have and find a way to make learning about all of these fun, and keep you completely engrossed, so much so y'all will want to keep learning more. Because of their methods and approaches to the educational and informational, y'all will never get bored drowsy. The documentaries on EPCOT is another grand touch. This, and the two other shows I mentioned, never disappoint. These are all my reasons for highly recommending this. Other extras include publicity, behind-the-scenes and story/background art galleries and an interview with futurist/author Ray Bradbury. Don't snooze on this. The going back and forth between the live-action and animation scenes/sequences is a plus to keep one engaged. It's not entirely boring at all, have no idea what's wrong with the reviewer from elsewhere who wasn't impressed with this. I give it an A. If these aren't enough to get one eager to understand more and easier, than I don't know what else is.
