Editorial Reviews

The concert film U2: Live at Red Rocks captured the Dublin quartet just as they began to amass a large following in America, four years before the release of The Joshua Tree -- the album that made them one of the most popular bands in the world. The band is at their most anthemic delivering such early favorites as "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "Gloria," and "New Year's Day." The historic Red Rocks venue provides a stirring backdrop for the band sweeping sound. This film offers an interesting counterpoint to the Rattle and Hum documentary, which captured the band at the height of their popularity. ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide All Movie Guide
