    More than 20 years ago, U2 burst out of Dublin, Ireland, set to change the world with their music. Time and again their songs and social conscience have dovetailed with a knack for artistic innovation, from their collaborations with Brian Eno to their multimedia, senses-blitzing Zoo TV tour. The Elevation Tour proves no exception, as this concert video proves. Live from Boston presents almost two hours of U2 onstage at the Fleet Center on June 6, 2001, as they rip through a set of gems from their All That You Can't Leave Behind album, including "Beautiful Day" and "Walk On," on which Bono's passionate voice and the Edge's chiming guitar carry the day. Classics are here, of course, including the anthems "Sunday Bloody Sunday," "With or Without You," and "Where the Streets Have No Name," all of which also attest to bassist Adam Clayton and drummer Larry Mullen's solid, driving rhythm work. The DVD version features a second disc with Another Perspective, an alternate-camera view of the entire show, not to mention three additional performances from around the world and a making-of documentary on the rigors of touring.     January 30, 2004: Once again, U2 shows how a great concert is suppose to be done. The concert will send chills down your spine, tears from the eyes, and have you singing out loud, like you're actually there. A must for any true fan, a must for any concert lovers. U2 Rocks!!!!

    September 26, 2003: Simply amazing. I have been a VERY avid fan of U2 since their American debut in 1979. I have seen them in concert 10 times and the Elevation Tour was the latest and greatest....closely edging out The Zoo TV Tour. This DVD captures U2's raw energy and emotion perfectly. I wish that ''One'', ''Mysterious Ways'', and ''Sweetest Thing'' made it onto this DVD, but I'm sure there were valid reasons for their omissions. ''Until the End of the World'', ''Where the Streets Have No Name'', ''With or Without You'', ''New York'', ''Beautiful Day'', & ''Bad'' will bring chills down your spine and perhaps a tear to your eye in some cases. The entire set list will have you captivated from beginning to end.
