Editorial Reviews

Based on the popular television series created by Rod Serling, this film of horror and the supernatural tells four separate stories--each by a different director: John Landis, Steven Spielberg, Joe Dante and George Miller. In one, a bigot is taught a lesson when he is transported to experience the lives of three different victims of prejudice and intolerance. Another takes a trip to an old-age home where the arrival of a special man turns some of the residents into youthful people once again. In the third, a woman befriends a timid young child who turns out to be a maniacal brat with bizarre powers. The final segment shows how a man with an aversion to flying has a rough time when he panics and then sees a strange creature on the wing outside his window seat. Kristie Hassen, All Movie Guide

November 20, 2009: This movie kept the originality and creativity from the original show and made it scary! All of the four stories are different and keep you wondering what is going to happen next, the best of which are the last two. The movie starts out with an introduction scene that is shocking, frightening, and surprisingly funny. Then the first segment begins when a racist man is forced to expierience the hardships of the people he is unfair to. The second segment, about the elderly getting a second chance at youth, is directed by Speilburg and is the last glimpse of happiness you will get until the real weirdness sets in. The third story places a woman at the mercy of a all powerful child who has made his parents disappear, took his sister's mouth away, and is now forcing strangers to be his new family. the final segment, the best of all, has a man who has a fear of flying seeing a strange creature trying to destroy the wing of the plane, but is it really just in his head? This movie is a must-buy.

June 13, 2009: when i first watched this movie i didn't know what to expect. when i watched it i loved it. the beginning i awsome because it shows dan akoroid turn into a cool looking monster and attack the driver. the only thing that i didn't like about it was the 2nd part. it didn't seem like the twilight zone, but it was good. overall i thought that it was a great movie.
