August 02, 2004: Fans of 2Pac will praise this movie, and people who hate rap music will learn that all rappers aren't bad. This film doesn't make Pac look like a hero, but it shows that he's a regular person who changed music forever. It shows his good side, and his bad side. How dare people insult this work of art, just because he's a rapper. This is the best documentary that I've ever seen and if Pac can see this, he's smiling his a$$ off about this film. See it!

July 01, 2004: I have been a fan of Tupac since 2pacalypse Now was released, back then he painted painful, yet beautiful pictures with his words, leaving the listener with thought provoking images of ghetto life in a way which reflected his Black Panther tutelage. Since his passing I have seen 2 or 3 documentaries on his life, but none of them have captured my imanination such as Resurrection. This is one of the most thoughtfully put together pieces of material which, by use of old news footage, gives one a sense of what it must have been like in the Shakur household and by way of Tupac's narration/interview footage it also allows one to catch a glimpse of the demons which haunted him during his short life, a young man who seemed to be watching the sands of time slip through the hour glass of his life whilst he selflessly fought for a cause only he seemed to understand. It's when you watch Resurrection you see the mature man Tupac came to be & you finally get to piece together what he was fighting for, there were negative points in his life, but here he answers all the questions one would possibly direct at him & it gives the viewer the opportunity to make their own mind up on the man.
