July 15, 2009: TROLL IS NOT A BEE IT WAS IN THE THEATER. THE MOVIE WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST MOVIE I HAVE SEEN BEFORE SO WHO AGREES WITH ME WHO EVER DOES POST IT

April 15, 2009: Troll, the original, is a B-movie to be sure. But a decent B-movie, not without it's own audience. It was tolerable, actually involved Trolls, and was a fluff 80's movie.

Troll 2, however, is in fact one of the worst, if not THE worst, movies ever made. Upon first viewing, being the cynical youth that I was, I immediately wrote it off as utter trash. But seeing it later, after years of growing to accept and love the worst of the worst that film has to offer, I find Troll 2 to be a masterpiece of the cheeseball overly-bad variety.

Here are a few plot threads worth mentioning: There are no Trolls in Troll 2, but instead Goblins. Apparently, the ONLY way to get someone to stop eating food is to urinate all over it. Even though you just approached a Goblin, patted it on the shoulder, and have only walked five steps, when the infuriated Goblin throws a spear in your direction it flies no less than FIVE SECONDS in the air before landing directly under your armpit, between your arm and body. If a witch, or witch looking Goblin, appears on your television screen, she will eventually walk through your trailer door. Then she will proceed to make out with you around an ear of corn, which then pops and covers you in popcorn. Don't fret though. She will then leave and you will be completely unharmed, thinking what the hell just happened, and why. Midgets in burlap sacks are always horrifying. The ONLY way to defeat a horde of angry Goblins, living in Nilbog, is to eat a double-decker balogna sandwich.

The above things ALL happen in the movie, amongst many other ludicrous happenings. It is hilarious, and completely unintentional.

If you do watch this, and find the perverse sort of enjoyment in it that I do, there is an actual documentary coming out about Troll 2. It's titled "Best Worst Movie," and it was made by the child star that was the main character in the original film. Check the trailer out online, you won't be disappointed.
