In this horror outing, a seemingly abandoned desert gas station turns out to be a grotesque museum filled with murderous mannequins who come to life when visitors come to call. The ill-fated "guests" are lured in by a strange siren's song. Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide

August 04, 2007: Tourist Trap is easily, one of the most terrorfying, movies of all time. It has more scares, then anything in theatres today! Tourist Trap is about a group of friends: Keith McDermot, Jocelyn Jones, That 70's Show's, Tanya Roberts, Jon Van Ness, and Robin Sherwood who decide to take a road trip. Well along the way, one of the cars breaks down, and the friends decide to wait with it, while one of them goes to get help. Hours after hours pass, until the teens meet, Mr. Slausen (Chuck Connors), a seemingly nice man, who leads them to his "tourist trap", a museum of mannequins. Well the teens, thinking they are saved, go with him, but as the night wears on, each teen will be exposed to horror after horror, until fear is eternal, and reality does not exist. Who will make it out of, the tourist trap?..........

May 18, 2005: This is one of the most terrifying films I have ever seen and I don't scare easy. It was released theatrically in the summer of 1979 when I was just nine-years-old. I am thirty-five now and it still frightens me. I bought a VHS copy of Tourist Trap in 1996, but had to give it to my girlfriend at the time because I just couldn't watch it, it was that creepy. Chuck Connors stars as a derranged magician and owner of a roadside museum/gas station. He has the ability to turn humans into mannequins and make them part of his lonely, yet horrifying world, forever. It's a real tourist trap and one you'll never forget. Watch it if you can and don't you dare turn out the lights.
