Ever wonder what programs capture the imaginations of children in other countries? In Australia, it's The Wiggles -- Murray, Anthony, Greg, and Jeff -- whose unique brand of interactive musical high jinks is on display here in Yummy Yummy. This irresistibly upbeat tape collects 14 songs, most of them original, that emphasize tongue-teasing wordplay. There are lots of coordination-testing hand games and sing-along, dance-along, wiggle-along fun with rhythms ranging from rockabilly to swing. The recommended audience is children five and under, although with a caveat: One song features Wiggles look-alike puppets that may even creep out adults. Donald Liebenson

In addition to the band members, some puppets in costume tag along for the musical fun and education, including Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Henry the Octopus, and Wags the Dog. Some of the songs the Wiggles perform include "Hot Potato," "Pufferbillies," "The Monkey Dance," "Crunchy Munchy Honey Cakes," "I Am a Dancer," and "Fruit Salad," in addition to "Go Captain Feathersword, Ahoy" and "Can You Point Your Finger and Do the Twist."
