Editorial Reviews

Murray, Anthony, Greg, and Jeff are the Wiggles, which one might assume is Australian for Barney. Phenomenally popular Down Under and catching on here in the U.S., the quartet and their company make for oddly entertaining kid vid. Clad in wardrobes seemingly on loan from Starfleet, the Wiggles resemble flesh-and-blood Teletubbies as they sing, dance, and generally hop about. Joining in the fun are costumed characters Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog, and Captain Feathersword. Children age five and under will find it hard to stay seated through this particular collection of 16 interactive songs. Donald Liebenson, Barnes & Noble

January 19, 2007: If you have children, you should get familiar with the Wigggles. They are NOT at all like Barney. They assume children have intelligence, unlike that insipid, stupid dinosaur. They are entertaining, enjoyable, and worth it. Your kids will love them, and you will NOT hate them. You might even like them. Their music is decent to good, their movies are great for kids, full of fun and whimsy and learning, and they genuinely love what they do. I cannot recommend the Wiggles enough.

February 11, 2005: My son is 15 months old. He has been watching the Wiggles for what seems forever. He loves the upbeat music and loves to dance along. He owns 6 of their dvds and 2 vhs titles. If your kid loves music and moving the Wiggles will give you both!
