Editorial Reviews

Travel back to the beginning and watch as a legend is born in this prequel to The Scorpion King from Highlander and Resident Evil: Extinction director Russell Mulcahy. Having watched his father die at the hands of the king, young Mathayus (Randy Couture) embarks on a lifelong quest for vengeance that will transform him into a warrior whose very name has the power to strike fear into the heart of the ancient world. Whoa, dumbby Anonymous

January 30, 2009: Need I say more? Actually...the acting was crap, both of the girls' clothes were stupid, the bad guy's gruff voice was counterproductive (it sounded really dumb, instead of cool, macho like the director hoped). The only good thing about it was the awesome Greek. I was excited for this movie. Scorpion King (with the Rock) was awesome, and the previews looked good, then we watch it, and it was such a disappointment.
