    Editorial Reviews

As staged at the Baden Baden Festpielhaus in July 2007, this noted classical music event brought four acclaimed vocalists - tenor Ramón Vargas, baritone Ludovic Tézier, mezzo-soprano Elina Garanca, and soprano Anna Netrebko - together for a live concert, with the accompaniment of the Marco Armiliato-led Sinfonieorchester Baden-Baden und Freiburg. In this 138-minute set, the artists perform arias by composers including Donizetti, Bellini, Rossini, Verdi and Delibes. ~ Nathan Southern, All Movie Guide All Movie Guide

July 25, 2009: This is a superb recording with each of the performers at the top of their form. Since I would pay to hear Anna Netrebko sing the yellow pages, I may be a bit biased. However, you can't go wrong with this CD.
