She causes social worker Miss Bannister (Eileen Brennan) no end of trouble and influences two neighbor kids with her mischief-making and infectious attitude. March 21, 2009: My daughter loved this movie when she was little. She watched it over and over again. I bought the DVD for sentimental reasons. I watch it once in a while for fun!

October 03, 2007: In Ingrid Langrid's book's Pippy is not a teenager, she is a tiny little girl. Pippy Langstrom's character has been universalized in every form, in every country "She is infact sweedish born". She is the ultimate little girl HERO, who can lift heavy weights, pull lemonade out of a tree, be rich with gold, yet live care free. And yes... this movie put poor Pippy in a cheap retro movie from the 80's and had her go through the awkward stages of her pre teens "new adventures". Still, It happens to all of us. See the earlier movie "1969"before you watch this, It is a good-laugh dissapointment.
