Editorial Reviews

In a future dystopia where thorough DNA scans are required to gain entrance into every major city, a world-class assassin (Bai Ling) is assigned the task of eliminating rogue DNA hackers. The sun has scorched the earth, and now dense clouds hang above overpopulated megacities. Those whose DNA is considered unworthy are locked out of the cities and forced to wander the wastelands. It's Michelle's duty to ensure that no undesirables gain entry into the city, and she earns a substantial paycheck for doing so. Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

August 30, 2009: I was randomly at a store the other day and this movie just kind of popped out at me. The whole idea behind the movie sounded kind of cool, and it was. I was familiar with Bai Ling from such movies as Crank 2 and Wild Wild West and whatnot too. The movie wasn't very much, so I just went ahead and bought it. The movie in itself was pretty cool, but I was kind of disappointed in how little action there actually was in it, and some of the acting from certain parties was kinda sub par...and it was it was definitely a B grade movie. Some of the special effects and everything else left a small bit to be desired, though the CGI at the beginning and the end of the movie was pretty cool. All in all, this was a decent movie, but it could have been made better. Still, if you're into futuristic sci fi movies and all that, and don't mind a slight bit of gore and everything, I would still say that it's worth at least a watch.

I Also Recommend: Babylon A.D., The Chronicles of Riddick: Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury, The Chronicles of Riddick, Equilibrium.
