An American soldier fighting the War in Afghanistan falls in love with a woman who sent him an anonymous Christmas card in this patriotic Hallmark Channel movie starring Emmy Award-winner Ed Asner, Desperate Housewives' John Newton, 102 Dalmations' Alice Evans, and Deadwood's Peter Jason. December 23, 2008: This film is refreshing for its patriotic theme ... or love and honor of the soldier. A bit cheesy in parts but a good Christmas flick. My father watches this movie at least 5 times at Christmas and again when it shows during February. I'm glad they are still making such clean, family movies. One of the best parts is showing a young, independent woman living and loving it with her family and the family business.

November 26, 2008: I have seen quite a few Christmas movies, but this one is hands down the best, most inspiring and amazing one I have ever seen. It tugs at the heartstrings. It will make you laugh, smile, cry and believe. In a world full of uncertainties and hard times, this movie is uplifting and made me believe once more that true love does still exist and can overcome anything. It is a wonderful movie to watch with loved ones.

God Bless all of the men and women in the armed services and thank you for all that you do! I pray that the man in my life makes it home safely from his deployment...
