They're the Cheetah Girls -- hear them roar in this Disney Channel movie that spawned a phenomenally successful soundtrack CD. Based on Deborah Gregory's young adult book series, the movie stars former Cosby kid Raven as Galleria, a young diva with a big heart and big dreams of pop stardom that her loving-but-disapproving mother (Lynn Whitfield) cannot vanquish. Unfortunately, Galleria also has a big mouth and a big head; and when a smarmy record producer discovers the CGs, her ego threatens to split the group. Galleria stands alone when he compels the other three girls in the group (Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, and Sabrina Bryan), each with her own personal drama, to conform and change their style and music. Sure to be a sleepover staple, the rousing Cheetah Girls hits all the girl-power and we-can-do-anything notes, as the Cheetahs ultimately achieve success on their own terms. March 20, 2007: This is not a good movie whatsoever. Well, it might have a few good times, but the music is not very good. Really young kids might like.
