A disturbed young man discovers his problems are all in his head, but isn't sure just how they got there in this tale of terror. Trevor (Andras Jones) is a young man who has been sentenced to a long stay in a mental hospital after brutally killing his girlfriend. However, the longer Trevor is in stir, the more he wonders if the murder ever really happened, or if it's all just a horrible fantasy implanted in his brain by Dr. Elk (Jeffrey Combs), the sinister director of the asylum. The first directorial effort from former editor Jeremy Kasten, The Attic Expeditions also features comic actor Seth Green, horror film vet Ted Raimi, and veteran shock-rocker Alice Cooper. March 03, 2005: It was different than I expected. This movie was good in my opinion I liked the plot. It's something someone on acid could expect from a good trip gone bad. Everything in your world is turned upside down.

January 08, 2004: This movie tries too hard to be a twisted thought-provoking movie, but falls flat on it's face. The only decent thing about it is that the cast had done very well...in other movies. Even Seth Green, who usually is in his element in movies like this, overacts & looks like he wants to sue his agent for suggesting this picture. I would only recommend this movie if you can get it free. Then again, I watched it for free at a friend's house, and still felt gypped.
