Children eight and under will embrace The Tangerine Bear with wide-eyed glee. This animated adaptation of Betty Paraskevas's book boasts an impressive voice cast, including Jonathan Taylor Thomas as an unsold teddy bear whose smile was accidentally sewn upside down at the factory. He finds the family he yearns for at Winkle's, a store for misfit collectibles, including a mermaid clock voiced by Jenna Elfman and a cuckoo with a bent beak voiced by Frasier's David Hyde Pierce. Narrated and sung by Trisha Yearwood, and featuring Marlon Wayans, Howie Mandel, and Tom Bosley, this Christmas tale is as adorable as a brand-new teddy, albeit one from the Island of Misfit Toys.
