A surfing penguin currently riding the wave of success enters his first professional competition in this computer-animated family-oriented comedy from directors Chris Buck and Ash Brannon. Cody Maverick (Shia LaBeouf) may be a relative amateur when it comes to hanging ten, but he's sure he has what it takes to surf his way to superstardom. March 02, 2009: I watch this movie several times a month. When I am working, I have it on and just laugh like crazy listening and watching it. The story and characters, you can apply them to your own family (not line by line). This is just great clean funny movie.

January 09, 2008: I liked the part from the review that said this movie was about achieving something when you believe and put your heart in it because in the lives that we lead this is very true. The lesson was a lot cooler with a strutting rooster and hard assed penguins. Recommended for kids
