Originally a made-for-television feature for the USA cable network, Stealing Christmas is a holiday comedy starring Tony Danza as a crook who unexpectedly learns a thing or two about the Christmas spirit. Looking for a place to lay low from the authorities, bank-robber Jack Clayton (Danza) lands in a small town. After a misunderstanding, Jack finds himself playing Santa Claus in the tiny berg, and before long he's falling for one of the town's denizens played by Lea Thompson. But will the good cheer of the townspeople warm his heart enough to persuade him against knocking over the local bank? Matthew Tobey, All Movie Guide
