May 19, 2008: This was basically a feature-length SG-1 episode, with everything you would expect from the series. It does a good job of wrapping up loose ends from the end of the series.

March 15, 2008: Loved this, I pre-ordered this and wasn't disappointed. I laughed, I cried and just generally had a good time watching this. I have been watching Stargate SG-1 since it was on Showtime. So I have been eagerly awaiting the movies. You don't have to watch the series, it does help but it's not necessary. Great family movie
