    Airing from 1981 to 1989, Simon & Simon followed the Simon brothers as they ran a detective agency in San Diego, California. Despite coming from the same family, Rick (Gerald McRaney) and A.J. (Jameson Parker) were complete opposites. Older brother Rick was a scruffy Vietnam veteran Marine, laid-back, with street smarts and an aversion to rules, while A.J. (short for "Andrew Jackson") was a slick, booksmart college graduate who was ambitious and sophisticated. Simon & Simon hit its stride in Season 2 (1982-3), landing in first place in the ratings for the first episode and staying comfortably near the top thereafter. Guest stars this season include Eddie Albert, Lisa Eilbacher, Morgan Fairchild, Cleavon Little, Joe Mantegna, Dean Stockwell, and Ray Walston. From the Studio

    March 10, 2009: Simon & Simon Season 2 is excellent! I bought it for my husband's birthday, but we were both huge fans. If you love classic 80's television... Simon & Simon should be in your collection. Season 2 also has a cross-over episode with Magnum P.I. It was fantastic! I can't wait until the other seasons are released. It appears that it took about 3 years for the Season 2 to come out, hopefully we don't have to wait that long for Season 3!
