seems this is like a filler since its not exactly based on a book cept the title and some little details in the episode. this is about two ladies and a search for a missing person and the rescue of the two ladies. man when you see near the end you'll be like sharpe and the temple of doom, LOL. still alright but not bad.

My interest in the Sharpe’s Series originated with the books upon which these movies are allegedly based. I’m hoping that it was an unfortunate accident that I choose this as my introduction to the video productions and that others are more true to their literary roots. This video production bore no resemblance whatsoever to the book of the same title and was consequently a major disappointment. Missing is the central mission of the theft of a horde of gold (no, not Aztec gold) from Spanish guerrillas for the express purpose of supporting Wellington’s army. Gone is Teresa, the woman who will later become Sharpe’s bride and mother of his child. Looking for the battle of the fortress of Almeida? Don’t hold your breath - there's not so much as a mention. The book made perfect sense and was historically based – a cornerstone of the Sharpe’s series. This movie production totally lacked any historical basis – they didn’t even get the date right. If the grave marker shown in the movie is assumed to be accurate (1813), the move is three years out of sync with the book of the same title (August 1810). I don’t know what this video is based on, but it most certainly wasn’t Sharpe’s Gold.
