Editorial Reviews

Kids will boogie until bedtime with some help from Zoe, the furry Sesame Street monster, and guest star Paula Abdul -- who seems to be having even more fun than on American Idol. Together with Zoe and a happy-tapping Elmo, the choreographer surveys the joys of the dance, from ballet to hip-hop, in a tu-tu charming program that's sure to keep aspiring dancers on their toes. Abdul invites Zoe to help her create an "Everything Dance" that incorporates a variety of styles that represent different cultures. But as Zoe's "Silly Willy Nilly" dance demonstrates, sometimes dancing is like playing. Even viewers who are more like Fred Flintstone than Fred Astaire on the dance floor will quickly get in the groove and learn to "pace with grace" and "feel the beat in your feet." July 04, 2009: My 14 month old daughter loves this video! She dances with the characters and gets a kick out of her grandma demonstrating the dance moves.

I was surprised how well of a job Paula Abdul does in this video. She looks great and is very engaging. My daughter enjoys this video so much, I recently purchased it for our neighbors 2 year old daughter.

October 28, 2006: My niece would watch this movie 24/7 if allowed. She will be two,Nov 2007,& has been watching this for about 6 months now. Not only does she love the action in the movie, she is moving along with every dance, imitating the kids and Paula Abdul. Without the video being on,now if you say ballet to her,she automatically poses in the positions shown in the video. If you say Asian, she brings her hands together, bows & starts her own little Asian dance.Up to now,her parents were just checking the video out from our local library. But her favorite aunt will be bringing it to the birthday party next month & I expect it will continue to be a favorite for a long time. Just be prepared to get up & dance - your child may insist on group participation just like Joanna :) Let me also add it is upbeat, the music & kids are pleasant, and on a day you want to stay inside it is a great way to work off some energy.
