Editorial Reviews

Sesame Street is alive with the sound of music, and you can join in at home! Don't have an instrument? No problem! Elmo, Telly, and Oscar the Grouch get lessons in found music -- the art of creating euphonic fun with everyday objects -- from cast members of the famed rhythm-and-percussion show Stomp. The "Stomp" troopers encourage the Muppets to make up their own junkyard symphonies using cans (including Oscar's home!), newspapers, footballs, paper bags, soda bottles, and even their own bodies. Note to headache-prone parents: This is delightfully infectious fun, so be prepared. Donald Liebenson, Barnes & Noble

May 15, 2004: We have this VHS and have worn it out so are investing in the DVD. Both my 5 year old and 2 year old love it. From the Sesame Street characters to the cast of STOMP, they are engrossed the entire 30 minutes!

October 14, 2003: This is such a unique musical experience for the entire family. It really is about making music (with ANYTHING). Of all the music videos that my children watch, this one gets them going the most. I sit out different household items (as shown on the video) and my boys start up their own band! I can't say enough great things about it... a definate buy!
