The Mystery, Inc. gang sat out this 1988 made-for-TV Scooby movie, in which race-car driver Shaggy is transformed into a werewolf by Count Dracula. Why would Drac do such a thing? To pad the field for his Transylvanian Grand Prix, naturally, which features the most ghoulish competitors to ever pursue a checkered flag. While this is hardly the sort of animation that lands its producers in the winner's circle, kids love the cowardly hound whose master is having his worst hair day ever. The Wolf Shag's fellow racers -- including Frankenstein, Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Snyde, the Swamp Thing, the Witch Sisters, the skeletal Mr. Bone Jangles -- and their amusing jalopies combine to make this outing monstrous fun.
