In Route 66, Yale graduate Tod Stiles (Martin Milner) is the more-cultured intellectual who led a privileged and sheltered life. Brooding Buz Murdock (George Maharis) is a tough young man who grew up in "Hell's Kitchen" and struggled his entire life just to survive. When his wealthy father dies, Tod unexpectedly finds himself flat broke with just one sole possession: a powder-blue 1960 Corvette. On a quest to find adventure, excitement - and himself - he and Buz hit the open road to see America. Filmed in locations from coast to coast, Route 66 is an edgy anthology series known for its top-drawer writing, intriguing characters and stellar guest star appearances, delivering engaging storylines and winning scenarios week after week and establishing the Corvette as an American icon. Also along for the ride this season are guest stars John Astin, Buster Keaton, Sorrell Booke, Rod Steiger, Ed Asner, Leslie Nielson, Ron Howard, and Julie Newmar. This set features the first 16 episodes of Season 3 (1962-3).
