    Editorial Reviews

A group of East Village bohemians struggle to live their lives and pay the rent on time in this filmed performance of Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer and Tony award-winning Broadway musical. With success and acceptance always just out of reach, these starving artists must do their best to remain optimistic about the future while contending with such formidable obstacles as poverty and the growing AIDS epidemic. November 17, 2009: When I saw this on the shelf I didn't even hesitate to buy it. I would have loved to see Rent one more time but I never made it. I have to say I remember the performance being better live but this is better than nothing.

April 13, 2009: Absolutely amazing...plus, loved the extras. If you weren't able to see it on stage, this is the next best thing. Crank up your sound system and you feel like your at the theatre.
