August 26, 2009: I got this DVD mostly because I was wanting to see Psycho 2 again. I remember watching this movie when it was first out, and it was a good thriller back then. My mom and I watched it, and the story isn't bad--has some good twists and turns, and Anthony Perkins is creepy as ever. Liked this movie then and now. As for Psycho 3, it was corny and I would not recommend it. Psycho 4 has an interesting storyline--in that, I would like to know what makes Norman Bates tick, but there are some problems, I think, particularly with Norman's age and appearance. There's a few other problems, but I don't need to get into that. All in all, if you like Psycho the original, I'd say you just might want to check these movies out--I think this DVD was fairly reasonably priced, and I don't mind having it in my movie collection.
