    Written and directed by Scott Hillenbrand and David Hillenbrand, the team behind the 1999 Anaconda sequel King Cobra, Piñata: Survival Island is a horror-thriller starring Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Nicholas Brendon. Brendon plays Kyle, one of several college students participating in a reality television show that sends them to an exotic island. Once there, one of the contestants finds an ancient clay piñata and accidentally cracks it, unleashing evil spirits that possess the piñata and begins killing off the unsuspecting teens.     July 01, 2003: We just finished watching this terrible excuse for a horror. We laughed hysterically throughout the entire film at both the idiocy of the characters and their actions, and the poor special effects (think man in a big rubber suit), and don't forget the extreme (blatantly fake) blood. Don't forget the fact that it's a bunch of sex driven sorority girls and frat boys searching for undies on an island. All the makings for a spectacular F grade horror. If you're looking for nonstop laughs though, it's a sure winner!

    March 06, 2003: Well, I found this movie to be a lot of fun. It has NON/STOP action and really cool effects.
