    Editorial Reviews

This pointed documentary from veteran producer and filmmaker Robert Greenwald casts in distinctly unfavorable light the Fox News Network, fricasseeing its "fair and balanced" credo while claiming that the top-rated cable news operation functions as a publicity arm of the Republican Party and the administration of President George W. Bush. With funding from MoveOn.org and the Center for American Progress, Greenwald combines dozens of clips that support his assertions with observations from various left-leaning media watchers, including Walter Cronkite, Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting's Jeff Cohen (FAIR), Jeff Chester from the Center for Digital Democracy, and author David Brock. Additional interviews with former FNC employees and excerpts from internal Fox correspondence buttress Greenwald's positions, although no current employees and officials are interviewed. What a jokeby Zegon

September 07, 2009: "with funding from moveon.org," which is a far left wing organisation. They have no problems with what NBC, CBS, CNN, ABC reports because they are also left wing.

But Fox that may seem right wing only because they aren't ultra left like the others.

Since I have started watching Fox, I at first felt they were biased. After watching for years, and comparing to what others were reporting, I now know Fox is the only one REPORTING the news, and not REPEATING what others with an agenda want the public to hear.

This docucommentary is a joke and biased from the start.

An Expose of the Fascist News Channelby TheDoctor

April 11, 2009: This documentary effectively points out all instances of FNC bias, and gives you an insight as to what is behind the sham, most notably the Murdoch ties to Ronald Reagan and the Bush family. It shows their techniques very well, and how FNC reporters (a la Bill O'Reilly) keep their shows right-wing bias, especially with telling liberals to 'shut up' while letting the neocons explain their ideas fully and with respect.

I would recommend this film to anyone, regardless of political belief. It is a great value, and it effectively does what it promises to do: expose FNC. This film fully exposes the charade and joke that FNC is. It does it so well, it may force their current fans to admit that their favourite news channel is anything but 'Fair and Balanced.'
