    Editorial Reviews

The Osbournes began with a brilliant idea: Reinvent the family sitcom as reality TV cross-bred with This Is Spinal Tap. But not even MTV expected it to be an overnight sensation, despite (or perhaps because of) all those bleeps. As "The Dad," bat-chomping Ozzy Osbourne won viewers' hearts from the get-go, enduring Everyman struggles with tricky remotes, sex-crazed pets, and his recalcitrant teens, Jack and Kelly. Even his rock-star problems played out like domestic disputes, such as when his wife suggested he tour with a bubble machine: "C'mon, Sharon, I'm the Prince of @#%$!# Darkness!" By the time Season 2 rolled around, The Osbournes had become such an institution that Ozzy and Sharon dined at the White House. This two-DVD set includes all 10 shows from the second season (plus commentary tracks with the Osbourne family). It's also an Ozzy-appropriate orgy of extra features. One can train to become an Osbourne with the DVD-ROM feature "Crazy Training," decode the master's mutters with the "Ozzy Translator," or play the set-top game "Dookie's Revenge." And though the series often plays like one big blooper, it turns out that what aired was just the tip of the iceberg. Just wait 'til you cue up the never-before-seen footage. Barnes & Noble

April 04, 2009: The second season of the Osbournes is just as good as the first. The best thing about this season, however is that it's twice as hilarious, and you get to see more of a day in the life of the Osbournes. Kelly, the daughter explores the music business, becoming a singer for the first time, and traveling from place to place doing interviews and photoshoots, while Ozzy is doing his thing, by having conflict with nature - the ocean that is. Probably the most funniest part of the season, when Ozzy decides to make a fire on his beach house property one night while a tide is present, and prevents Ozzy trying to make a firepit. He then starts cussing at it, telling it to go back to Alaska. The best part of the second season! I highly recommend this season...or any Osbourne season for that matter. They're all good.

A season like no other!!!!!!!by Anonymous

March 02, 2004: i think that this season of the osbournes was the best ever cause of episode #3, the ozzman and the sea! The section where ozzy is cussing out the ocean for trying to wash away his fire, it is such a knee-slapper! i really recommend this 2-dvd set for any one who like ozzy osbourne, i promise, it is worth the cost, cause u will get ure money's worth. I PROMISE!!!!!!!!!!
