Albert Arkwright, portrayed by the British treasure Ronnie Barker, is a stuttering shop-keeper who still finds time for his passions -- pinching pennies, keeping his daydreaming nephew Granville (Sir David Jason) in line, and, of course, tirelessly pursuing nurse Gladys (Lynda Baron). This set contains all four seasons of the original UK show from hit writer Roy Clarke (Keeping Up Appearances, Last of the Summer Wine), which aired from 1973 to 1985. August 02, 2009: A great British comedy made by the producers of "Keeping Up Appearances". This is the saga of an ultra-cheap grocer and his nephew working in a typical small village. Great Laughs and I especially liked the fact that all the seasons were included in this set of DVDs.
