    Jed Weintrob directed this look at how Internet sex sites bring people together, while simultaneously keeping them apart. John Roth (Josh Hamilton) and his friend Moe Curley (Harrold Perrineau) spend a remarkable amount of time at Intercon-X, a pornographic website. All of the characters spend a great deal of time in cyberspace. Eventually, John shares a sexual act online with Jordan (Vanessa Ferlito), another regular at Intercon-X. Eventually Jordan and Moe engage in an actual affair, which finally forces all of the characters to deal with each other in the real world, and not just in cyberspace.     March 01, 2004: Don't be fooled by the steamy scenes and 'taboo' subject matter. Ultimately, On_Line is a sweetly romantic movie about human connection and love. In addition, the movie was filmed in New York City and contains some lovely images of the World Trade Center. For a New Yorker, it's wonderful to watch a film that doesn't forget the cityscape prior to September 11 and imagines a world in which the World Trade Center remains a part.

    February 25, 2004: Check out the hot, sexy, and decidely-not-for-primetime ON_LINE. Josh Hamilton (The House of Yes, Kicking & Screaming) and Harold Perrineau (Oz, and Link from The Matrix: Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolutions) topline this ensemble of intersecting love triangles shot thru New York City's internet dating and cybersex community. The first REAL look at virtual communities, webcam voyeurs, and what it's like to live life in our new net culture. But most importantly, this film is super-sexy and sports a super-hot young cast of actors who we'll be seeing for years to come.
