Season 4 (2006) of the FX Network drama Nip/Tuck is one of change, as every major character faces upheaval in his or her life. First, Dr. Christian Troy (Julian McMahon) and Dr. Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) decide to sell 51 percent of their plastic surgery business to an investor who is also apatient, Burt Landau (Larry Hagman). Christian takes an interest in Landau's wife, Michelle (Sanaa Lathan), and the two begin an affair. What Christian doesn't know, however, is that Michelle works for James (Jacqueline Bisset), -- stay with us here -- an illegal organ harvester who will stop at nothing to fill her quota, even going after one of Liz's (Roma Maffia) kidneys. Meanwhile, Sean faces troubles at home when his wife Julia (Joely Richardson) reveals that their soon-to-be-born son has a birth defect. The stress of this draws the couple further apart, and Julia finds comfort in the arms of the nanny, Marlo (Peter Dinklage). Sean's older son, Matt (John Hensley), secretly weds Christian's (and Sean's) former lover, Kimber (Kelly Carlson). Both Christian and Sean are thrown when Matt announces that Kimber is pregnant, and he and his new wife have become Scientologists. The practice, meanwhile, continues as it always has, with interesting and disturbing cases offsetting the frequently ludicrous organ-harvesting storyline. Guest star Rosie O'Donnell is fabulous as lottery winner Dawn Budge, who offers Christian money to sleep with him. Alanis Morissette turns up as Liz's new girlfriend Poppy. Brooke Shields plays psychiatrist Dr. Faith Wolper, who is more than willing to get involved with a patient where Christian is concerned. And Melissa Gilbert plays a patient with a particular...affinity for her dog. Unaired scenes, featurettes, and a gag reel round out the set of Season 4's 15 episodes. Christina Urban, Barnes & Noble
