Editorial Reviews

When human-hating aliens disrupt earthbound cable-television signals, it's up to a monster-hunting superhero to take out the pesky extraterrestrials and ensure that television viewers are not deprived in this animated adaptation of the popular comic-book series. The DreamWorks Animation release is being helmed by Shrek 2 director Conrad Vernon and Shark Tale's Rob Letterman. Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

October 13, 2009: This movie was great! It's probably the best Dreamworks animated movie I have seen lately, though other recent ones were decent too. I laughed through out the whole thing, and there were all good heart warming parts to it too. It has a good lesson in value of family & friends, and in sticking together. In another review, I listed a handful of the only movies of Seth Rogen's that I thought were any good, but I failed to mention this one also, because I wasn't thinking of this one at the time, but this is another good one he participated in too, as the gelatenous blob Bob. ALl the other voice work was very well done too...Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Laurie, Kiefer Sutherland, and the lot. There was also some great reference to some good sci fi flicks in it as well. All in all, this was a truly great film. I am going to have to go pick it up. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone. Just go and buy it! Trust me!
