A successful young couple moves into a posh neighborhood inhabited by a killer who is far from the benign suburbanite that appearances would suggest in legendary horror director John Landis' second installment into Showtime's Masters of Horror series. David (Matt Keeslar) and Celia Fuller (Meredith Monroe) seem to have everything a young couple could want: good jobs, a great house, and plenty of money. David is a hardworking doctor and Celia is an investigative reporter with a knack for always getting to the bottom of the story. Upon moving into their new neighborhood, the Fullers soon make the acquaintance of their new neighbor Harold (George Wendt), an outwardly amiable single man who seems to be quietly occupied by his job and his hobbies. One night while drunkenly driving home from dinner, David and Celia jump the curb and slam into Harold's mailbox. After inviting Harold over for dinner in hopes of making amends for their clumsy transgression, the couple soon reveals that they have moved into the new neighborhood in a bid to recover from the recent loss of their young daughter. A deviant fur trader in pursuit of the perfect pelt finds that sometimes glamour can come with a deadly price tag in director Dario Argento's adaptation of an original short story by author F. Paul Wilson. When it comes to furs, Jake Feidman (Meat Loaf) is a man whose outstanding reputation for quality precedes him. He knows that good fur doesn't come cheap, and he's willing to do whatever it takes to stay on top in the business. When the workday is done Jake frequently makes his way to the local gentleman's club to pursue a beautiful young dancer. Though she frequently spurns his advances, Jake is convinced that he can win her over if he only could find her the perfect gift. Upon receiving a call from a local trader (John Saxon) who frequently supplies him with pelts, Jake reluctantly journeys into the country to take stock of the latest acquirements. What he finds upon arrival are without question the makings of the most beautiful fur coat Jake could ever imagine. Unfortunately it appears as if the trader and his son have suffered a horrific fate while preparing the fleeces for pickup. Later, after attempting to win the heart of the dancer by presenting her with the pristine coat crafted from the pelts, Jake learns that sublime beauty doesn't come without a deadly price. A pregnant girl trapped in a woman's health clinic makes a disturbing discovery about the child growing inside of her while attempting to fight off her father and three heavily armed brothers in director John Carpenter's second Masters of Horror episode. A young couple is driving down a darkened country road when frightened Angelique (Caitlin Wachs) darts frantically into their headlights. Realizing that the young girl is terrified beyond consolation and shaken by the near accident she caused, the kindly couple informs Angelique that they are currently en route to a nearby clinic and would be happy to give her a ride. Shortly after arriving at the clinic with their young charge, however, Angelique's enraged father, Dwayne (Ron Perlman), arrives with two sons in tow and enough firepower to stage a small war. Staunch anti-abortion activist Dwayne is determined to liberate his daughter from the evil clinic in which she has sought sanctuary, but as he prepares to storm the building, Angelique makes a horrifying discovery about her unborn child. The husband of a woman whose flesh has been so horribly charred that she is completely comatose but technically still alive is haunted by her violent apparition as he attempts to make the difficult decision whether or not to end her suffering in Wrong Turn director Rob Schmidt's contribution to season two of Showtime's Masters of Horror series. In medical terms, Abby may technically still be alive, though anyone unfortunate enough to have suffered such a grisly, fiery fate as she would most certainly wished they had died. Now, as Abby lies catatonic in her hospital bed, her guilt-ridden husband, Cliff (Martin Donovan), struggles to get the court order that will allow him to bring his wife's misery to a merciful end. Now, as Abby's condition begins to deteriorate, her vital signs continually flatline and doctors race to revive her each time. Though they are repeatedly successful in their efforts, each time Abby dies her apparition appears to lash out against those who appear to be taking advantage of her dire situation. Each time the specter appears, it is more powerful than before, and now, should Cliff attempt to turn off her life-support system, he too will become a target of his wife's supernatural wrath.
