Volume 5 introduces some new faces to the team, and kicks off with an explosive two-part special which sees Britain on the verge of anarchy. A series of sinister terror strikes -- combined with chronic fuel shortages -- has plunged Britain into crisis. As a desperately weakened Prime Minister fights to hold onto power, the public mood turns increasingly rebellious. MI-5 head Harry Pearce (Peter Firth) and team leader Adam Carter (Rupert Penry-Jones) begin to face the horrifying possibility that the country is under attack from sinister forces right at the heart of the establishment. So begins a dangerous game of bluff and counter-bluff. The 10 episodes of MI-5 (originally titled Spooks in the U. K.) aired on BBC1 in 2006, and aired in the U. S. on cable net A&E. From the Studio

January 18, 2008: Even better than the previous volumes. Acting is brilliant. Sitting on the edge of your seat stuff. Unpredictable and exciting. British spy series at its best. Highly recommended. Like reading a very good book, one doesn't want it to end!
