Editorial Reviews

He’s got a second chance at life -- and he’s doing whatever it takes to make every moment count in all 21 Season 2 (2008-9) episodes of the clever, critically acclaimed series, Life. Damian Lewis returns as Charlie Crews, an eccentric detective returning to the force after being wrongfully imprisoned. Back on the beat with his determined partner, Dani Reese (Sarah Shahi), and his unusually Zen-like outlook toward the cases he investigates, this unconventional crime solver tries to catch the LA wrongdoers who really belong behind bars -- as well as whomever was behind his own fall from grace. August 23, 2009: I don't usually watch much TV, but, because I'm a fan of Damian Lewis's previous work, I decided to check out this new show. I've been a diehard follower of Life since the pilot episode. Sadly, the show has been cancelled, with season 2 being its final season. The show's quirky characters, witty lines, dramatic case lines, and frequent comedic incidents makes it interesting from beginning to end. The conspiracy theory of Charlie Crews's jail sentence is a recurring theme throughout the show and helps put the viewer right into Charlie's shoes as he fights to find who killed his friends and who put him in jail for fifteen years. Life is an amazing series that did not receive enough credit. Season two was much better developed than the previous season, but still kept the originality and basic style of season one. Overall, Life is a series that definetely deserves recognition as one of the best TV shows ever created.

I Also Recommend: Life - Season 1, Csi: Ny - Seasons 1-3.
