Editorial Reviews

In the world's longest-running sitcom, Britain's oldest (if not wisest) adolescents uncork a barrelful of laughs and make a toast...to life! The year is 1976 and Compo (Bill Owen), Clegg (Peter Sallis), and new man Foggy (Brian Wilde) continue their gentle hijinks in the picturesque village of Pennine up in the Yorkshire Dales. It's no city life, but there's still plenty to do, from golfing, to holiday breaks in Scarborough, to Compo's mysterious cardboard box. Can the three friends overcome knee "clicks" and Gordon's wedding for more antics with their demented friends? This set contains seven episodes from 1976's third season that aired on the BBC.
