This concert film captures a February 28, 2003 performance by KISS in Austraia. What makes the night special is that the band was backed up by a full symphony orchestra. The group performs three sets of songs that night, one high-energy traditional rock and roll show, a more sedate acoustic set, and finally a series of songs with backing from the classically trained musicians. The twenty-two song setlist includes such all time favorites as "Beth," "Deuce," "Strutter," "Detroit Rock City," and "Rock and Roll All Nite." ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide All Movie Guide

May 21, 2006: If you look up the work awesome in the dictionary it should show a photo of this DVD. This is KISS at thier very best....in fact it is KISS at thier all time best. KISS delivers a performance for the ages in Austrailia while they are backed by the Melbourne Orgestra. The concert is complete with all of the fireworks, laser lights and special effects that you would expect from the original Gods of thunder! the set list for this concert couldn't have been any better. This is a must have for any lover of hard rock music. it a great concert by one of hard rocks all time greatest bands. It really doesn't get any better

August 20, 2005: The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra breathes new and exciting life into the hits we all know and love. The first act is straight KISS, later followed by KISS with an ensemble (similar to KISS MTV Unplugged), then the "full Monty" with the full Orchestra. The lights, fire, explosions, confetti....a total blast. My favorite DVD by far. Plenty of beautiful Australian women in the audience also helps!
