Brooklyn teen Isadore "Izzy" Daniels (Corbin Bleu of High School Musical) is a boxing champ following in his father's footsteps -- he's going to be the third member of his family to win the Golden Gloves. His friend and neighbor Mary Thomas (Keke Palmer) is practicing for the New York City Double Dutch finals. Her squad is looking good until one member drops out to join a competing team. When Izzy attends one of Mary's double dutch exhibitions and sees how cool it can be, he offers to become the fourth member of her squad. Assuming the name Red Hot Chili Steppers, the new quartet -- Mary, Keisha (Laivan Greene), Shauna (Shanica Knowles), and Izzy -- work overtime to be ready for the competition. Izzy is torn, though: His father wants him to box, and he'd rather jump rope. Eventually, he realizes that it's better to do what you love, rather than do what everyone expects. Slick dance and double dutch scenes highlight Bleu's remarkable talents, and like High School Musical, this Disney Channel movie is packed with original music. Extras include two featurettes: "Learning the Moves," which teaches kids how to get started in double dutch, and "Inside the Ropes: The Making of Jump In!. Two music videos, one featuring Keke Palmer, are also included. Christina Urban, Barnes & Noble
