January 10, 2008: One doesn’t have to understand the words—Josh Groban’s voice reaches right down into your heart and strokes the sweet spot in your soul. Mr. Groban could have been standing on a street corner in the rain—no “special lighting effects, noise, staging, etc” were needed, only his voice. Oh, and I see with great clarity that anyone equating Groban's gift with a KISS concert reunion: 1. Has either been rejected somehow by Mr. Groban, or more likely, 2. HAS no soul...

August 21, 2006: From the very start of Josh Groban's concert I could hear a nasaly, affected voice. This concert was truly dreadful. To just concentrate on the vocals by Groban...his voice simply wasn't there. It was nasal at times, weak on others. "Mi Mancherai" was probably the worst with very few moments of clarity after that. The special lighting effects, noise, staging, etc., all combined gave this concert the feel of a KISS reunion, but with a more middle-aged audience. Okay....It was a KISS concert. Groban lacked all of the polish and finesse of previous concerts. Success has truly spoiled the star. Perhaps in future concerts Groban will concentrate his energy on his one (and only one) talent.....his singing.
