    Editorial Reviews

This animated feature is a produced-for-video follow-up to Prince of Egypt from the film's original producers, with Ben Affleck (Reindeer Games) providing the voice of Joseph. Joseph is the "miracle child" who rises from slavery to become Pharaoh's second-in-command. While not as awe-inspiring as Prince of Egypt, it is also not as intense, making it more accessible to the entire family than its predecessor. Donald Liebenson, Barnes & Noble

August 16, 2003: The contemporary music is definitely to be noted and as a vocal teacher, I am wondering if the music is available by book with lyrics or by soundtrack. *****

June 19, 2002: This movie, in every sense, was brilliant, extremely well done and Dreamwork's true achievement, atleast when compared to the Prince of Egypt. The music, characters, story - all the elements of this movie touches one's heart. A more than worthy sequel, it's very unfortunate that it wasn't released in the theatre! Hundred times better compared to most of Dreamworks's recent animated releases. One of the best animated films ever!
