Janet Jackson gets the lei of the land when she heads to Hawaii for the final night of her 2001 "All forYou" tour. During the course of this two-hour musical and visual extravaganza, Jackson puts her dancers, costume changers, and set designers through Herculean labors. There appears to be a never-ending supply of lavish outfits in Jackson’s closet, and this disc goes behind the scenes in between songs, offering a unique glimpse of the offstage world at a megaconcert. Overflowing with energy, Janet whips her audience into a frenzy with her vast array of hits, including such faves as "What Have You Done for Me Lately," "Nasty," "Rhythm Nation," and "Control." A dizzying number of young female pop stars have found their way onto the Billboard charts since Jackson embarked on her solo career, but she’s one of the few artists who still has the chops to keep her act afloat.
