A pair of American pilots are forced to cooperate with their Soviet counterparts on a mission to destroy a Middle Eastern nuclear weapons site in this predictable, low-budget action sequel. The first Iron Eagle's rebellious fly boy Cooper (Mark Humphreys) has returned, as has his gruff mentor Chappy (Louis Gossett Jr. as yet another military man). They must work with two Russian pilots, one of whom is a beautiful woman that handsome young Cooper naturally sets out to woo. An extended build-up, including the requisite government conspiracy, leads to the climactic final battle. Average-at-best production values fail to elevate the film above a derivative screenplay, although the film did find enough success to produce further installments in the series. July 04, 2003: In the first minutes of the movie 2 US pilots from a base in Alaska are trying to find the G-Force of their air-crafts. By the time they're flying they are accidently cross a Soviet air-space and 4 Soviet Mig29's are sent to bring them back to the American air-space....but during this time the Soviet pilots are beging to shoot the American F16's just as a joke .....one of the American pilots trying to shoot a Soviet Mig and got shot himself. The US government tells lies that one of the F16's crashed as a result of a human mistake. The pilot who has survived the shootings(Cooper) is being transported to another base where he finds himself in a group mixed of both Soviet and American grand-unit soldiers and pilots whom were collected for a secret mission in the Middle East...and of course on of the Soviet pilots(Lt. Lebanof) is the one who shot Cooper's best freind( in the end they will be freinds) and one of the pilots is a beautiful woman in and Cooper is in love with her, after the mission was accomplished Cooper and his Soviet girlfreind think they'll never see each other ......BUT he find out that the governments are exchanging American and Soviet soldiers nd that he'll meet his girlfreind again.
